Sammy Kemboi

Sammy Kemboi has ten (10) years of experience as a research consultant and a trainer of trainers for statistical software including STATA, EVIEWS, SPSS , R and Nvivo. As the CEO of Tobit Research Consulting, Kemboi has been offering high impact trainings for both corporates and higher institutions of learning. Academically, Sammy Kemboi is a holder of Master of Economics and Bachelors in Economics from the University of Nairobi. He is also a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K).

Previously, Mr. Kemboi worked at Ipsos Synovate Ltd as a research assistant. He has also held managerial positions such as operations manager, Data Analyst & Training Executive and a Research & Training Manager. Sammy Kemboi has provided a wide array of consultancy services to the corporate world, the most notable ones being marketing surveys, baseline surveys, and formulation of strategic policies. Most of these consultancy services have spanned across for-profit and non-profit making organizations (NGOs) such as Windle International Kenya.

Moreover, Mr. Kemboi has demonstrated remarkable competitiveness in offering financial consultant services that cut across audit, book-keeping, and tax advisory. Use of economic and financial modeling has consistently enhanced the nature of output at Tobit Research Consulting. The areas of expertise in Applied Accounting and Economics include Economic Research (Data Analysis using STATA, Eviews SPSS and R), Economic Planning, Monetary Economics, Auditing, Taxation, Computerised Accounting, Quality Control and Accounting Design.
